A brand shoot is WAY more than having tons of photos for your Instagram. Its a way to capture a huge amount of content for your business that can be used anywhere and everywhere!

The truth is, personal branding shoots are SO much fun and while you’re having fun, you are also getting quality images to support every platform of your business. So, where can you use these amazing photos you love so much? I’m happy to share some great ideas!

How are you sharing your brand story?

1. Profile Photos

It’s always a good idea to keep your profile photos fresh and current, so utilizing one of your new images in your profile is always a great option. This can be captured to a vibe that suits your brand, on a white crisp backdrop or a casual lifestyle headshot.

2. Website

Your website is considered your ‘store front’ these days, one of the main selling points for your business. You are the face of your business so having images of yourself and details captured specifically of your business is a great way to make your potential clients feel connected to you! We’ll have many photos of you to select from as well as lots of branded images that are great for the ‘filler/ stock photos’ that we all need throughout our businesses on all marketing platforms.

3. Blog Posts

This is an easy one! With all the photo’s you’ll get from your brand shoot, you wont find yourself running short when using them in your epic blog posts and there’s nothing better than having a huge selection to choose from!

4. Pinterest

If you’re not using Pinterest for your business, it’s time to start. Having quality images to use in your pins is another great way to drive traffic to your website … and who doesn’t love that!?

5. Newsletter

Have a weekly or monthly newsletter you send out? Well, you just found yourself another place to use your branded images!

6. Price Guide/Welcome Packets

If you are using these types of packages when you bring on new clients, then you have another great spot to show off your branded photos. In action, behind the scenes, you name it! These are all awesome things to include and show new people!!

I hope you took some inspiration from this post on where to use your photos next!

This Thanksgiving, I’m extra thankful for every conversation, collaboration, and connection that’s helped my business grow — and for the people behind every brand I’ve had the honour of capturing. You make what I do so meaningful.

I’ll be honest — I never feel fully comfortabl I’ll be honest — I never feel fully comfortable in front of the camera. It always feels like so much prep, organizing, and a whole process just to get here. But every single time, it’s worth it.

Stepping in front of the lens is one of those things that pushes you out of your comfort zone — and that’s exactly where growth happens. These self-portraits are a reminder that showing up, even when it feels a little uncomfortable, creates results you’ll never regret.

If you’ve been putting off updating your photos, consider this your sign: it’s worth it, every time

A brand refresh doesn’t mean scrapping everything you’ve built. It’s about leveling up the pieces you already have so your visuals feel current, aligned, and ready to carry you forward with confidence.
