How to find your brand aeshetic and vibe

In today’s digital world, branding is an essential part of creating a successful business – and one way to do that is having a super stunning, aesthetic brand shoot that fits your vibe!  Before you start snapping pictures, it’s really important to have a clear understanding of your branding aesthetic and vibe.

Your branding aesthetic and vibe refer to the overall look and feel of your brand. It includes the colors, fonts, patterns, and style that you use consistently across all of your business. These elements help to create a cohesive and recognizable brand identity that resonates with your target audience – which also includes how you portray your brand through imagery, like epicccc brand photos!!

Here are some tips to help you find your branding aesthetic and vibe and showcase them in your brand photoshoot:

  1. Define Your Brand Identity: Before you can showcase your branding aesthetic and vibe in your photoshoot, you need to define your brand identity. This includes your brand mission, values, and personality. Your brand identity should be unique and reflect your business’s values and goals and once you have that you can work to really show that through your visuals.

  2. Research Your Competitors: Take a look at your competitors’ branding aesthetics and vibes to see what they are doing well and what you can do differently. Look for ways to differentiate yourself and create a unique look and feel that sets you apart.

  3. Create a Brand Board: Once you have defined your brand identity and researched your competitors, create a brand board that includes all of the elements of your branding aesthetic and vibe. Here is where you can start mapping out how you want things to look and feel and how your audience will feel when they view your business!

  4. Choose Your Location: Your photoshoot location should reflect your branding aesthetic and vibe. For example, if your brand is eco-friendly and sustainable, choose a natural outdoor location. If your brand is sophisticated and luxurious, choose a cool loft or space that reflects this vibe.

  5. Lock Down That Wardrobe: The outfits you choose for your photoshoot should reflect your branding aesthetic and vibe. For example, if your brand is modern and minimalistic, choose simple and clean lines. If your brand is fun and loud, maybe consider some bright colors that are louuudd!

  6. Hire a Professional Photographer: Hiring a professional photographer is essential for creating high-quality images that showcase your branding aesthetic. Make sure to communicate your brand vision and provide your brand board to your photographer, that way you can all be on the same page when it comes to capturing the look you’re going for.

You can showcase your brand in a way that resonates with your clients and helps you stand out in a crowded marketplace …. who doesn’t love that!?

"When I decided to rebrand, I knew I needed a photographer who could capture a few quality images of someone who doesn’t love being in front of a camera. After doing a Google search and reading a few recommendations, I landed on Kate Paterson’s website. Her photos immediately stood out and her personality shone through the words on the page. I trusted my gut and booked her, and I’m so glad I did.

I went into the shoot hoping for a few great photos, and I ended up with dozens I absolutely loved. In fact, I couldn’t narrow it down to just a few — when I asked friends to help me choose from the proofs, almost every photo was someone’s favourite. It was a good problem to have!

Kate just works her magic. She creates an environment where all you have to do is show up as yourself — and she captures the very best version of that.

Highly recommend. Kate’s the one to choose."

Because in this market, your clients want more than a business card — they want connection. They want to see you.

Walking into a session with confidence doesn’t mean having it all figured out.
It means being willing to step in front of the camera, tell your story, and show the personality that sets you apart.

If your brand visuals haven’t grown with your business, this is your sign to refresh how you show up online.
Your future clients are already searching — make sure they find you.
